Description Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
Screen patients for MRI safety risks, including implants, devices, and contraindications.
Explain procedures and provide patient education to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Monitor patient condition during MRI procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the RIS/PACS system.
Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs.
