OT’s work with clients in their home, craft treatment plans, and apply innovative techniques to help them reach their goals.

You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to remain at home.

How You’ll Make an Impact: Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance and develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to more independent living Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations resulting in enhanced outcomes for clients Continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety and independent living Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet Compensation & Schedule: Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule Flexible scheduling Benefits You’ll Love: Health Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, FSA and HSA options Recognition & Rewards: Recognition and Therapy Hero programs; referral bonuses Paid Time Off: PTO (paid time off) and paid holidays Reimbursements: Mileage reimbursement or schedule-specific benefits Life Insurance: Employer-paid life insurance Wellness: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Join a mission-driven organization and qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) while making a real impact.

Qualifications for a BAYADA Occupational Therapist: Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii Must be willing to travel in assigned territory Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred Thrive in a Culture That Cares: We put your well-being first, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment of belonging where you can achieve your goals.

Locations We’re Hiring: Central Maui, Ideal Candidate will assist in Lahaina visits on day they choose Type: Per Diem or Part-Time Pay: Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $70-$75 per point.

Requirements

Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Hawaii and a graduate of an accredited OT curriculum. One year of experience is preferred, and the candidate must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
