Provide comprehensive genetic counseling to clients, including risk assessment and the interpretation of genetic testing results. Maintain professional relationships with clinicians and educate the community and clinical staff on genetic updates.

Understanding of clinical applications and standards necessary to provide comprehensive, current genetic services and counseling. Familiar with input and data retrieval on computer database. Pay Range is $111,592.00 to $167,398.40 / annual salary. Genetic Counselor III Pay Range is $59.02 to $88.53 / annual salary. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
