  • Purpose: - The San Antonio OT Aide at will assist occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic services to patients, ensuring a supportive and efficient environment for rehabilitation. The aide will play a crucial role in facilitating patient care and maintaining the smooth operation of therapy sessions.

  • Responsibilities: - Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic activities. - Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment. - Support patients during therapy sessions, providing encouragement and guidance as needed. - Document patient progress and report observations to the occupational therapist. - Coordinate with healthcare staff to schedule therapy sessions and manage patient flow. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies. - Assist in administrative tasks related to therapy services, including record-keeping and inventory management.
  • QualificationsRequired
  • Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Completion of a certified Occupational Therapy Aide program is preferred.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, and completion of a certified OT Aide program is preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of healthcare experience and the physical ability to assist patients with mobility.
