Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse, RN, for a position on-call and performing emergency night visits if needed. This office services our hospice clients throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia.
Position is for every other week, 26 weeks per year (but paid for 52 weeks) , weekdays Monday-Friday 5:00 pm – 8:30 am and 24 hours on Saturdays & Sundays with premium pay.
Full Time compensation and benefits but only work 26 weeks out of the year!
Prior home care, hospice, or acute care experience strongly preferred.
As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice Nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. As a Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA RN you will:
Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends
Active and current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the state of PA
One year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
Ability to travel to cases as assigned
