Market context

Maryland CMT roles remain steady

In Maryland, Certified Medication Technician openings are often tied to long-term care and assisted living settings, where employers look for candidates in good standing with the MD Board of Nursing and able to handle direct-care demands. These roles can be competitive because facilities value prior hands-on experience, reliability, and comfort with physical tasks, alongside benefits such as medical and vision coverage and on-demand pay.
