Work Shift Night (United States of America) **Contract will be at Spalding Medical Center in Griffin, GA Shift: 7p-7a *Previous Travel experience strongly preferred. **A 13 week contract is required during surge season (Oct-March) BEFORE a candidate can be considered for PRN shifts during non-peak months. Program Commitment:
Team Members are required to complete: 1 (one) 13-week assignment between Oct 1st – March 31st (surge season) each year, with the option to work additional 8-13 week contracts in between.
While on assignment, Team Members will be scheduled 36 hours/week.
Team Members function under a contingency staffing model as a PRN Team Member (since only held to 1 contract per year), with no guaranteed hours, and no benefits offered.
All scheduling is done at the unit level, with no self scheduling.
Team Members are required to work 3 (three) Mondays and/or Fridays, and 3 (three) Saturdays and/or Sundays in a 4-week scheduling period. Job Summary:
The Extended Assignment RN Clinical Nurse- Acute Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care.
They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the WellStar Shared Governance Model.
The framework for practice is steered by the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence-based practice and research.
