As a Vascular Sonographer, you’ll perform high-quality non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies in a collaborative outpatient vascular surgery practice. Working closely with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals, you’ll play an important role in helping diagnose and manage complex vascular conditions while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Duplex imaging Doppler studies 2D vascular imaging Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing Produce diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation. Recognize abnormal findings and communicate urgent results when appropriate. Accurately perform required measurements and documentation. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout each examination. Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform quality assurance activities. Required High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience Current certification as one of the following: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) RT(VS) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Associate degree from a CAAHEP-accredited allied health program 2–4 years of vascular sonography experience Graduation from an accredited Vascular Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or Ultrasonography program Active membership in SDMS or SVU ⸻ Why Beaufort?
