The Mental Health Therapist provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interventions for individuals and families. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
License/Certification Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTs) - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, LSW Ohio - Ohio Licensed Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting preferred Experience working with patients with mental health or substance use disorders is strongly desired Department Specific Job Details: full time, 40 hours day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM serving the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center
A Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work and a valid state license (LMFT, LPC, or LSW) are required. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings.
