About the role

Provide brief 20-30 minute behavioral health interventions for patients of all ages within primary care clinics. Collaborate with primary care providers using the PCBH model to develop treatment plans and increase patient access to care.

Benefis Health System has a great opportunity for integrated Behavioral Health Consultants (BHC) to join our primary care behavioral health team as a Psychologist, LCPC or LCSW. Opportunities in various primary care clinics across our organization including pediatrics, rural health clinics, and family medicine.

Position Details

Integrated primary care team member providing brief 20-30 minute interventions for a wide variety of health and behavioral concerns in patients of all ages in primary care clinics, working alongside primary care providers, team of behavioral health consultants, and clinical staff. Works closely with primary care providers and staff using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model to develop and implement treatment plans, increase patient’s access to behavioral health care, and provide on the fly consultation for providers. Applicants should have an interest in or experience with brief evidence-based interventions for individuals across the full life span, team-based care, a wide variety of presenting concerns, and diverse patient populations. Flexibility in schedule. Clinic is open and staffed Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Will consider both full time and part time positions. Requirements

Must hold an active LCPC or LCSW license in Montana or be eligible to obtain one prior to employment. Candidates should have experience or interest in brief evidence-based interventions and team-based care across diverse populations.
