Assist physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization and pacemaker implantation. Manage intra-aortic balloon pump operations and electrophysiology studies in a team environment.

Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus!

Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies Schedule: Variable with on-call requirements on select nights and weekends. 30 minute On-Call Radius. $4.75 Cath Lab Differential Applies upon hire. RCIS applicants are encouraged to also apply. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: High School Diploma/GED, required. BLS from the American Heart Association, required. Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire. Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred. Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma/GED and BLS certification, with ACLS required within six months of hire. Candidates must obtain RCIS, RCES, or ARRT cardiac-interventional certification within 18 months.
