Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs and optimizes pharmacotherapy for medically complex oncology populations, including patients with relapsed or refractory malignancies, those enrolled in clinical trials, and recipients of advanced therapies such as bispecific therapies and other novel immunotherapies.
- Leads the implementation of innovative clinical practices, technologies, and evidence-based initiatives within their service area, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to expand clinical pharmacy services, optimize patient care, and advance quality improvement efforts.
- Designs, conducts, and disseminates practice-based research and quality improvement initiatives that advance the field of oncology pharmacy. Actively pursues opportunities to serve as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on clinical research and scholarly projects.
- Serves as a Program Director, Coordinator, or primary preceptor for the PGY-2 and PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Programs, developing the curriculum and overseeing the training and evaluation of residents.
- Contributes to medication safety initiatives by identifying and analyzing medication errors and adverse drug events within their practice area, and by implementing evidence-based strategies to enhance patient safety.

Education Requirements
- PharmD degree required
- Florida Pharmacist license required
- PGY-1 Pharmacy residency required
- PGY-2 in Oncology highly recommended
- Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy highly recommended

• One year relevant work experience required
