About the role

Assists physicians in preparing and performing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures. Responsible for comprehensive patient care and the operation of specialized cardiovascular technology and equipment.

Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician.

Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella.

Responsible for all aspects of patient care that are in accordance with the hospital and department policies.

Practices safety guidelines for patients, colleagues, support personnel, and self.

Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.

2-3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience required. Previous Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred but not required for candidates with a cardiac-focused educational background. Two years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, efficiency, a collaborative team-oriented approach, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Flexibility to work varied hours and shift lengths is required. Current CVT or RTR credentials are required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire. RCIS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Requirements
