Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures such as biopsies and ERCPs. Responsible for disinfecting equipment, setting up procedure rooms, and monitoring patient vitals.

Overview Endoscopy Tech (GI Lab Tech) – Glenwood Springs, CO. This travel assignment involves a hospital-based endoscopy department. Start date is 08/11/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift structure is 4x10-hour rotating days with on-call rotation. Weekly pay ranges from $1,782 to $1,919.

Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing staff and physician during endoscopic procedures, supporting the needs of the procedure (e.g., polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, dilations)
  • Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment; assist with troubleshooting of equipment
  • Set up the procedure room and transport patients as needed
  • Stock rooms with supplies and equipment; assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff
  • Apply EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to case start

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Registered with Colorado DORA as a Surgical Tech
  • Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program
  • Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification - 2 years endoscopy experience; advanced case endoscopy experience
  • Ability to work in a hospital setting
