About the Practice
Corewell Health Visiting specialty team is a small multi-disciplinary team that supports several visiting specialties. Our primary location is at 15100 Whittaker Way, Grand Haven, MI. The team supports 12+ providers imbedded in Women’s Health, Cardiology, Cardiac Monitoring, General Neurology, Spine, Allergy and Rheumatology, with the goal of supporting other specialties as needed, such as Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Orthopedics.
Our medical assistants work in tandem with either another MA, nurses, or ACCT, and Practice leaders to facilitate a smooth workflow for our providers' tight schedules. One may be setting up a procedure for one patient, the other rooming the next patient. Some of their tasks include performing point of care testing, allergy testing, managing provider and clerical in-basket, chart prep, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and all other tasks assigned.
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Requires a high school diploma and completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days and a recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA) within 120 days.
