At Animal Hospital of Regency Park in New Port Richey, we combine advanced medicine with a true small-town feel. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, we practice progressive small animal care with a strong focus on teamwork, transparency, and continued learning.

Our technicians are hands-on and highly valued members of the medical team. You’ll work with advanced diagnostics and equipment including cone-beam CT (VetCAT), intradermal allergy testing, video otoscopy, dental radiology, and therapeutic laser.

1 DVM-to-support staff ratio, our techs are empowered to practice at the top of their skillset—supporting surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, dermatology cases, and client education.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician
  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Signing bonus available if licensed!
  • Ability to confidently run appointments of all kinds alongside a veterinarian
  • Familiarity with common in-house lab machines and testing
  • Experience in surgery and anesthesia a plus
  • Confident with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule; rotating Saturdays are required
