About the role

The role involves performing housekeeping and related activities, focusing on maintaining the cleanliness of patient exam rooms, inpatient rooms, surgery areas, utilities, and the general environment. Responsibilities include demonstrating proficiency in basic cleaning skills and maintaining the physical environment to the highest standards of appearance and infection control.

Performs housekeeping and related activities with the focus on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and the general environment.

Responsible for continuously demonstrating proficiency in basic cleaning skills used in patient, staff, office, clinic, or visitor areas.

Routinely demonstrates both knowledge and skill in the safe use of chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques and infection control methods necessary to maintain the departments established quality standards.

Demonstrates ability to speak, write, and understand English.

Demonstrates competence in the safe handling and removal of medical and hazardous waste.

Maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint.

Position is a Bellevue Clinic Location

Full Time/Evening-Night Shift (benefits eligible)

Required Education and Experience Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. A demonstration of this ability is required.

Required Credentials N/A.

Preferred High school diploma or equivalent experience. One year of previous institutional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital or hospitality environment. One year customer service experience. Vocational training and certificate.

Compensation Range

$21.30 - $30.33 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
