The Radiologic Technologist utilizes ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic procedures including X-Ray, fluoroscopy, tomographic, and portable studies. Qualifications: ARRT certification, Florida Radiological Technologist licensure American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Communicating Effectively Physical Requirements, must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher.

Threshold Requirements These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Imaging Program, preferably with two years of college education, and hold current ARRT certification and Florida Radiological Technologist licensure. Essential qualifications also include American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers and proficient computer and communication skills.
