Provide surgical and clinical support to multiple Orthopedic Surgeon practices on an as-needed basis. Assist in the delivery of care within an accredited Orthopedic Center of Excellence.

Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine has been instrumental in Community Hospital’s unprecedented growth and success over the last decade. Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine serves as the exclusive Sports Medicine physicians for all four District 51 area high schools, Colorado Mesa University varsity and club sports, and the Grand Junction River Hawks minor league hockey team. Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is an accredited Joint Commission Orthopedic Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement Surgery for hip, knee, and shoulder. As this service line continues to grow, we are actively looking for an additional Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to support multiple Orthopedic Surgeon practices on an as-needed (PRN) basis.
PA/NP would work on an as-needed basis (no guaranteed hours)
Previous Orthopedic Surgery experience strong preferred. This position will be mainly surgery based, but could also provide some clinical support.
Hourly Compensation rate of $64.
Malpractice coverage
Must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience in Orthopedic Surgery is strongly preferred.
