The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing various clinical skills such as EKGs and phlebotomy. They also manage prescription requests in the EMR and coordinate communication between patients and other departments.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required. Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) required Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required.
