Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Utilize various radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required. Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required. Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required (Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Ky licensure, whichever occurs first). BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
