Prosperous Medical Prosperous Medical serves as the integrated medical and clinical services division of Prosperous Health. Services include: Psychiatric evaluation and medication management Outpatient mental health services Integrated medical care Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Telepsychiatry services Outpatient clinical services Care coordination and continuity of care programs Innovative behavioral health and medical treatment solutions Together, Prosperous Health and Prosperous Medical provide a fully integrated behavioral healthcare platform that supports patients across the continuum of care.

Position Summary

The Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to individuals participating in outpatient mental health and substance use treatment programs. This position delivers individual, group, and family therapy while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client recovery and wellness goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals heal from mental health and substance use disorders, possesses strong clinical skills, and is committed to delivering ethical, client-centered care in a collaborative treatment environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Services Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and diagnostic evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical needs Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) Trauma-Informed Care EMDR (preferred) Solution-Focused Therapy Facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions Conduct family therapy sessions to support recovery outcomes Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning when necessary Maintain communication with authorized external providers and referral sources

Documentation & Compliance Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines Maintain treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and assessments in EHR Ensure compliance with HIPAA, licensing standards, and accreditation requirements Uphold ethical and professional standards at all times

Collaboration & Team Participation Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and clinical staff Attend clinical supervision and staff development meetings Contribute to a positive and collaborative clinical culture

Professional Development Stay current with evidence-based practices and treatment trends Participate in continuing education and training opportunities Support quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives

Additional Responsibilities Assist with program development and implementation as needed Participate in utilization review and quality assurance activities Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active California registration or licensure: AMFT, LMFT, ACSW/LCSW, APCC/LPCC Minimum 1 year experience with mental health and/or substance use populations Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills Knowledge of evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented care Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience in outpatient, IOP, PHP, or residential settings Experience with co-occurring disorders Training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, or trauma-informed care Bilingual abilities (a plus)

Salary & Compensation $60,000 – $75,000 annually depending on experience and licensure Full-time position Benefits package available
