The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting, labeling, and processing blood specimens from patients of all ages. They also handle the registration, ordering, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing while managing related clerical and computer functions.
Hours: Full Time Evenings with rotating weekends
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff. Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.
