Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Director, the RN delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process.
Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering treatments and medications, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 6 months of hire Quality Indicator Measure Certification within 6 months of hire Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing practices and the care of patients with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses preferred.
