Will be responsible for providing an internal nursing resource for unplanned staffing needs due to vacancies, leave of absences, patient census, patient acuity and employee call-ins.
FirstStaff RN Resources will consist of two levels of clinical knowledge.
Both levels are expected to work across all acute care locations of FirstHealth.
Level 1: Med/Surg, Intermediate Care, Outpatient, Surgical Admissions Unit, Women & Children Services.
Level 2: Critical Care, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, PACU Minimum of 2 years current full time acute care experience required in clinical area.
Current NC RN license.
Line-Safety certifications in BCLS, PALS and/or ACLS or other applicable specialty area certifications required.
To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.
Requires a current NC RN license and a minimum of 2 years of full-time acute care experience. Must hold BCLS, PALS, and/or ACLS certifications and obtain a BSN within five years of employment.
