About the role

The provider will manage outpatient family medicine duties and conduct nursing home visits across multiple locations. The role requires working autonomously while directing clinical questions to a supervising physician.

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus-Family Medicine in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join it's Valley Falls Clinic.

About the Position

Outpatient only Experienced support staff 2 years or more NP or PA experience desired EMR: EPIC M-F schedule 8 a.m.-5 p.m. No weekend requirement One night of call (one Saturday a month) This position is based out of Valley Falls but spends the vast majority of their time in Topeka and surrounding communities, completing nursing home visits for various residents and patients. Although this is a family practice the ideal candidate would have a special interest in geriatrics and long-term care, as most of the work occurs in this type of environment. This is a busy position, due to the travel and multiple locations. Must work autonomously and independently a large part of the time, directing questions to supervising physician appropriately.
