Occupational Therapist (OT) – Senior Living Visits Full-Time or Per Diem | Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth & Union Counties, NJ $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time! BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Senior Living team. This position provides occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities throughout Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Union Counties, NJ. As a BAYADA Occupational Therapist, you'll work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping clients maximize their independence, safety, and quality of life while remaining in the place they call home.
Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide outpatient therapy services within senior living communities and group home settings serving adults with intellectual disabilities. Deliver evidence-based interventions that promote functional independence and improve quality of life. Collaborate with home health clinicians to ensure smooth transitions of care and achieve client-centered goals. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and safety recommendations. Complete timely documentation, treatment notes, and discharge planning using BAYADA's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapist experience. Home health experience preferred, but not required. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by the AOTA and AMA. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Why BAYADA?
