As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests Your primary Neurodiagnostic Technologist duties will involve: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.The Neurodiagnostic Technologist can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.Communication skills are essential for this position Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: High School Diploma or GED required BLS issued from the American Heart Association 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required EEG experience and or education highly preferred Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. At least 6 months of patient care experience is required, with EEG education or experience highly preferred.
