About the role

Provide personalized, compassionate care to adult and pediatric urology patients through direct clinical care and nursing triage. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis evaluation, and coordinating the continuum of care across settings.

  • Iowa River Landing is seeking a patient centered 100%25 Staff Nurse to work within our Urology Clinic. Our Staff Nurses develop relationships and get to know our adult and pediatric patients and monitor each family member's health care history and deliver personalized, compassionate care every time to each patient. This position supports our clinics with both direct patient care in the clinic and through nursing triage. Duties to include but are not limited to: Applies nursing theory to the assessment, diagnoses, treatment, and evaluation of patient responses to health and illness. Chart preparation of clinic visits in advance to ensure adequate records are obtained. Collaboratively coordinates the continuum of care across settings. Responsible and accountable for the provision of care for patients. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and serve as a patient advocate. Performs clinical procedure according to guidelines. Performs nursing triage. Percent of Time: 100%25 Schedule: 40 hours will be accomplished Monday - Friday between 0730 - 1730 and rotating lates Location: Iowa River Landing Salary: $61,782 to commensurate. Salary will vary based on years of experience and percent of effort.

Education and Certification Requirements An Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or Master’s degree in Nursing (MNHP or MSN) is required.

Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required by date of hire.

Experience Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Desirable Qualifications Experience working in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Experience working with EPIC.

Previous Triage experience.

Previous adult and pediatric urology experience.

Requirements

Requires a nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) and a current Iowa nursing license. Strong communication skills are required, while experience with Epic and ambulatory urology clinics is desired.
