  • CTTP has a new name: Thrive Together. This new name reflects the program’s mission to support youth and families through challenging transitions and help them move from crisis to stability. Thrive Together offers short-term respite and intensive, phase-based care management for youth returning to the community after hospital stays. This model strengthens HGS’s continuum of care and enhances our ability to serve children, youth, and families. What You’ll Do As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide direct nursing services to children and youth in accordance with New York State licensure and agency policies. You’ll be responsible for assessments, medication management, health screenings, and coordination of care across multiple programs. This role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to care. You’ll work closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the health and well-being of each child. Your work will support both immediate medical needs and long-term wellness, contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse who is passionate about working with children and families. You bring clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a trauma-informed approach to care. You’re organized, responsive, and committed to maintaining high standards of practice in a dynamic setting. QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse who is passionate about working with children and families. You’re organized, responsive, and committed to maintaining high standards of practice in a dynamic setting. Qualifications and Preferred Experience Current New York State licensure/registration as a Professional Registered Nurse Minimum 1 year of general nursing experience Experience with children, emotionally disturbed individuals, or in pediatric/mental health nursing preferred Current CPR certification Valid New York State driver’s license Key Skills and Attributes Confident in setting healthy boundaries and responding to challenging behavior with care and consistency. Skilled at building strong, respectful connections with youth, families, and coworkers. Open to learning and able to complete required trainings like Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, CPR, and First Aid. Detail-oriented, dependable, and with strong documentation and clinical record-keeping skills. Brings patience, resilience, and emotional steadiness to the work.
