Position Summary

The Imaging Technical Assistant supports radiologic technologists and imaging staff in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role focuses on patient care, room preparation, equipment assistance, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the imaging department.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures Verify patient identity and assist with preparation for exams (i.e., changing, positioning) Provide clear, calm instructions to patients and address basic comfort needs Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times Assist technologists during imaging procedures as directed Prepare imaging rooms and ensure necessary supplies are stocked and available Clean and disinfect equipment and rooms following infection control protocols Accurately document patient information

Requirements: KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS · Patient care · Basic medical terminology · Attention to detail and organization

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE The Imaging Technical Assistant should have the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, strong communication skills, and possess physical ability to assist with patient mobility if needed. Previous healthcare, radiology, or patient care experience is preferred.
