Conduct all aspects of psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples or groups with substance abuse disorders.
Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction.
Attend weekly social work meetings arriving promptly, participating actively in the process and assuming responsibility for rotating presentations.
Attend annual agency training for Quality Assurance including fire safety, mandated reporting of abuse and universal precautions.
Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment.
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
Current NYS License in LMSW/LCSW, or LMHC
Strong substance abuse experience, required.
Daytime availability, required.
CASAC certification, a plus.
