Sampson County Senior Services is offering a shared job opportunity for two RNs to work collaboratively to provide support and assistance to senior citizens enrolled in our Adult Day Care Program.
  • What you'll do: Provide intermediate skilled human support and assistance for senior citizens with personal, social, and health needs Work collaboratively with staff, family members, and other service providers to contribute to the development and implementation of individual client service plans Plan and providing educational programs for clients, caregivers and elderly people in the community Administer a variety of medical-related services and treatments to clients Assist with the preparation/serving of meals, daily activities, and programs as required Assist with administrative tasks associated with the program, including those required to satisfy

  • What we're looking for: Dedicated professionals with working knowledge of services, benefits, and programs available for senior citizens within the service area Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision by ADHC Program Manager Ability to establish trust and maintain effective working relationships with associates and clients through strong interpersonal skills Team players who can work collaboratively to apply regulations, maintain detailed records, and solve problems within scope of responsibility A current RN license for the State of North Carolina is required for all applicants. Preferred applicants will have experience working with senior adults, adults with cognitive impairments such as dementia, and adults with disabilities.

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30
  • AM to 4:30 PM. The two employees who share this position will coordinate work schedules to provide coverage, and the work hours for each will not exceed 19 hours per week.
