In New York, ophthalmic imaging tech roles are typically driven by steady demand from eye care clinics, hospital departments, and specialty practices that rely on retinal imaging and OCT support. Competition is often strongest for candidates who already hold CRA and OCT-C credentials and can bring hands-on imaging experience, since employers need staff who can work accurately with patients and equipment from day one.
