Job Summary Summary Responsible for dissecting/preparing/storing an incoming tissue specimen. Need to have in-depth knowledge of human neuroanatomy. This role works independently, under direct and indirect supervision, and performs technical and clerical tasks required for the efficient functioning of the department. Prepare the Dissection Lab for the arrival of a tissue specimen.
Dissect and store the specimen according to standardized protocols.
Take required tissue quality control measurements.
Clean the Dissection Lab, ensuring all biohazard materials are appropriately stored or disposed of.
Attend monthly meetings.
