The Staff Nurse will be responsible for

Providing care for patients in Cardiac Cath lab. Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Qualifications

To qualify you must have: Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.

Experience

  • - Cath lab experience preferred Cardiology experience required ACLS required Intravenous conscious sedation preferred 1 year
  • Cardiac
  • ICU or 5 years of
  • Stepdown
  • Cardiology experience required
  • Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged. Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract This position requires 30 minute call back for on call shifts overnight weekdays and weekends.

Additional Job Details (if applicable) Shift: 40hr variable rotation

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing school with Massachusetts registration and a BSN for newly licensed nurses. Required experience includes Cardiology and ACLS, with a preference for Cath lab experience and specific durations in Cardiac ICU or Stepdown Cardiology.
