Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a part-time, experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our In-Home Care services in the Floyd, Virginia area.
**This position will be part-time Monday-Friday Evenings**
Our In-Home and Supported Living Care DSP's assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing. Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities, support personal care needs, providing transportation and any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and assisting with medication administration.
Successful candidates are detail-oriented and able keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community and the lives of other people, we want to talk to you!
Hiring dependent on references and criminal background check free of barrier crimes. Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record required that meets the following guidelines:
· Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
· No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years
· No major violations within past 5 years
