Job Description
The psychiatric unit nurse cares for patients with behavioral health illnesses in an acute care setting. The psychiatric unit nurse is responsible to conduct intake interviews, assess and evaluate the patient, establish a plan of care, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and may conduct therapeutic groups.Education:
Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Experience:

Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license in the state of Missouri. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and previous nursing experience are preferred.
