The Registered Nurse is responsible for executing designated care plans and performing home visits to provide medication administration, wound care, and treatments. They must monitor patient conditions, document interventions, and coordinate care with clinical managers and physicians.
Description First Choice Hospice is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) who is interested in caring for our community-based patients enrolled in our hospice program in the Boise, ID and surrounding areas.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities: Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures Monitor clients' conditions, reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders Perform client assessments Case management and coordination Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
Current State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License in hand A minimum of one-year clinical experience is preferred Demonstrate knowledge and skillset in current nursing practice Possess a valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance HCHB EMR knowledge is desired Ever mindful of the need for employees to care for themselves and their families, we offer competitive benefits that support healthy lifestyle choices to eligible employees.
