Provide direct nursing care to patients across various specialized units including Emergency, ICU, Oncology, and Neurology. Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, administering medication infusions, and acting as a patient advocate.

We are ONLY considering BSN new graduates who graduated in May or August of 2026

The program requirements are as follows

  • Only Applicants graduating with their Bachelor of Science in Nursing are being considered at this time.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • You must list your current GPA on your resume AND indicate your top two areas of preference in your cover letter.

Failure to submit a cover letter with your top two areas of interest and a resume that includes your GPA will result in your application not being considered.

The areas to choose from are listed as follows: Input the units that are taking residents for the cohort in this section. SEE BELOW SECTION.

Emergency Department - Emergency Department RNs will provide direct nursing care to a wide variety of patients' ages and clinical conditions, with Resident RNs primarily working in the adult Emergency Department. The ability to be flexible, efficient, and organized are important attributes to succeed in the role.

N4B Cardiac Intensive Care Unit - The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit RN provides a high level of medical and surgical nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients. Medical cardiac nursing includes care of patients post-STEMI, Cardiogenic Shock, high-risk post-cardiac interventional procedures, CHF, management of patients with IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, Therapeutic Temperature Management Hypothermia therapy. Surgical cardiac nursing includes the care of patients post-open-heart surgery, CABG, Valve, Triple A, Thoracic Endovascular repair, Thoracic surgery, and Left Ventricular Assist Device. Vascular surgery such as TCAR, CEA, and management of post-partum Hypertension. Post-structural procedures, such as high-risk transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and mitral clip.

Float Pool - Float Pool RN will provide direct nursing care to a wide variety of patients on multiple Medical/Surgical units. The Float Pool RN ca be assigned to one unit at the start of each shift and assigned to another unit med shift. The ability to be flexible, efficient, and organized are important attributes to succeed in the role. The Float Pool RN acts as a patient advocate and uses a holistic approach to patient care delivery.

W4A/N4A - The Cardiac Telemetry RN will be assigned to both Cardiac Telemetry and Cardiac Stepdown. The cardiac telemetry RN will manage the care of post procedural patients (i.e. Post Cardiac Cath, Post pacemaker implant, post cardiac ablation), post cardiac surgery patients, post thoracic surgery patients, (i.e. post lobectomy), patients requiring cardiac medication infusions (i.e. Cardizem, heparin, milrinone infusion), and a variety of cardiac medical patients.

Care: Vents, Trachs, Post neurosurgery, stable neurology patients requiring closer monitoring. Post Tenecteplase, post thrombectomy.

N5C ICU- will provide direct nursing care to a wide variety of critically ill patients within Critical Care.

N5B IMC- will provide direct nursing care to a wide variety of critically ill patients within Critical Care.

W6A Oncology - Oncology and Hematology including lymphoma, leukemia, solid tumors. Chemotherapy, ITP patients, Palliative care.

N6A Neurology - Care of the neurology patients, post stroke, status epilepticus.

N7A Geriatrics/ Pulmonary - Focused on delivering expert care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions, our unit specializes in:

NICHE geriatric care tailored to the unique needs of older adults

Pulmonary expertise in managing COPD, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions

Cardiac care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and related cardiovascular issues

Women's and Children Services - Residents can be hired into one of the following

NICU

All resident positions are for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY! You will be hired onto the day shift for the beginning of your orientation and will be transitioned to the night shift at some point in the first six months.

Current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification is required upon entering the program and it must be valid for a minimum of 3 months post the start date of the program.

You must successfully obtain a New Jersey Registered Nurse License (not just the license number) by at least two weeks before the residency start date to enter into the program. Please note that license reciprocity from another state can take approximately 3 months to receive; therefore, it is strongly recommended that you take the NCLEX in New Jersey if you plan on working in New Jersey.

Related working clinical experience is a plus.
