Assists with patient activities of daily living and monitors behavioral health patients in a child/adolescent unit. Responsible for performing vital signs, documenting observations, and intervening in crisis situations to maintain a safe environment.
Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications (e.g. DNV, DHS, CARF or others)
Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing Assistant. Successful completion of CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills within 90 days.

Good verbal and written skills for safe and effective patient care. Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills.
