Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Hand Therapy (Outpatient Orthopedics) Location: 3385 Mariner Blvd Spring Hill FL 34609Schedule: As Needed, Monday–FridayPay: $35/hr Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem COTA with at least 1 year of recent hand therapy experience to support our outpatient clinic. You’ll treat upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, and post-op fractures, working alongside experienced hand therapists and orthopedic surgeons. Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals Ensure proper documentation of patient care. Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies
Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED Must have previous 1 year experience working with hand therapy patients.
