The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services and patient care within the emergency department. This includes managing individualized, goal-directed care through patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services and patient care in variety of settings. This position follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This position ensures adherence to hospital or department policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices. Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a nursing degree and a valid Florida or compact state license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
