The Department of Pathology is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform difficult technical procedures and allied duties related to the function of a service laboratory; maintains laboratory area and equipment.
Performs a variety of laboratory tasks related to processing specimens, computer/clerical duties, routine lab maintenance, and supply distribution.
This position is 100%25 time, Monday – Friday, 0500-1330.
Duties to include: · Delivers completed cases to appropriate personnel in the department of anatomic pathology (match-up). · Maintains Hematoxylin and Eosin automated stainer · Files paraffin blocks and unstained slides · Prepares reagents and chemicals. · Assists with laboratory inspections.
