Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, maintaining patient records, and completing required documentation of work. Works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, must have an excellent working knowledge of drug names, dosages, dosage forms and the procedures for the preparation and calculation of dosage forms

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.

Requires a high school diploma and registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Board of Pharmacy. Certification is required within one year of hire, and an associate degree or hospital experience is preferred.
