About the role

The Restorative Nursing Assistant promotes resident independence and wellness by assisting with activities of daily living and self-care skills. They are responsible for documenting resident data, reporting changes to licensed nurses, and ensuring a safe environment.

Rate of Pay

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour

AM Shift

Additional pay differentials of $1.25 per hour for the PM shift and $1.50 per hour for the NOC shift

**$1,000 retention bonus if you meet the availability/hours requirement ($500 paid at 6 months of employment and $500 paid at 1 year of employment)

Who you are

  • Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience preferable
  • Long Term Care experience preferred
  • Formal training in restorative nursing

Job Summary

The Restorative Nursing Assistant will demonstrate exemplary knowledge and skill as Certified Nursing Assistant. The person will promote independence and wellness with the residents, encouraging and promoting independent self care skills.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assists residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities
  • Promptly reports changes and any unusual occurrences regarding residents to Licensed Nurse
  • Participates in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
  • Participates in care planning conferences on assigned residents as requested
  • Assist in transporting residents to and from activities and programs.
  • Accurately documents required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
  • Responds to each resident’s call light promptly.
  • Follows established performance standards and performs duties according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates appropriate action immediately

All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID-19 vaccination status.

Candidates must hold a current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and CPR certification. A minimum of 2 years of CNA experience and formal training in restorative nursing are preferred.
