The Hospice Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and families receiving care in home or facility settings by addressing spiritual needs, offering compassionate guidance, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning to promote quality end-of-life care. Schedule, Hours, & Territory
  • Standard operating hours are
  • Monday through
  • Friday, 8:00
  • AM to 4:30 PM
  • Mt Plesant, MI and surrounding areas
  • Participation in an on-call rotation may be required; additional compensation is provided What We Offer

  • Conduct spiritual assessments
  • Provide spiritual counseling and support
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Support patients, families, and caregivers Qualifications
  • Chaplaincy training or equivalent experience required
  • Hospice experience preferred Field Role Requirements
  • Active driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Requirements

Requires chaplaincy training or equivalent experience, with hospice experience preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and pass criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
