We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Sea Mar Community Health Centers is an FQHC that provides a full rangeof medical, dental and behavioral health services to the individualswe serve. Sea Mar Behavioral Health's diverse and quickly expandingprogram is seeking a full-time therapist for its Burien location. Interest in perinatal mental health preferred due to working withinthe Maternity Support Services Program.The Mental Health Therapist (MHT) provides individual and groupcounseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide riskassessment, and treatment planning. In addition, he or she willprovide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primarycare physicians, and with other community agencies. Our therapistsmust have the ability to accurately diagnose mental health issues anddevelop treatment plans based upon diagnoses. Providing services mayrequire occasionally meeting with the client outside of the office andin the community.We are a growing team with wide-ranging experience, educationalbackgrounds and degrees. We work closely with our medical providers toestablish a whole €œhealth home€ for our clients. This makes for arich clinical environment that is supportive and invigorating.QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
Master's degree from an accredited college or university inpsychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework inpsychological assessment.
At a minimum should meet WAC requirements for the designation ofMental Health Professional, be licensed or have an associate'slicense.
Experience with mental health evaluation of children and experiencewith evidence-based models of treatment is a plus.
