The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients to develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on maximizing independence. They are responsible for directing discipline-specific therapy services and educating patients and their families.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to support our Dallas Hub Teams. Coverage opportunities are available at both our Downtown Dallas and Las Colinas locations. Our interdisciplinary teams treat a diverse range of diagnoses, including but not limited to: Acquired Brain Injury Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Parkinson’s Disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Amputee Rehabilitation Our mission is to empower patients to achieve their highest possible level of independence across home, work, school, and community settings. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you! Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Occupational Therapist required. Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required. #BSWIR-Outpatient Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans #BSWIR-Outpatient

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current state license or be eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. BLS certification is required either at the time of hire or within the first 90 days of employment.
