About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. They must collaborate with the healthcare team and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas and facility standards.

Overview

The Registered Nurse will assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients.

The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures and standards of the Medical Center.

The RN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts.

Registered nurse with current Arkansas license.

Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) course.

Requires full range of body motion including lifting a weight of 50 pounds or more, and requires standing and walking.

Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.

Must be able to work around frequent interruptions and able to cope with stress.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas.

An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current, active license to practice in Arkansas Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education Successful completion of Medication Administration Exam Basic keyboarding skills, preferred

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Arkansas RN license and have completed a Basic Cardiac Life Support course. A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift 50 pounds are also required.
